We are instructed by Professor Stephen Hawking, Dr Colin Hutchinson, Professor Allyson Pollock, Professor Sue Richards and Dr Graham Winyard in a proposed judicial review of the Secretary of State for Health and NHS England's introduction of non-NHS bodies to run health and social services without proper public consultation and full Parliamentary scrutiny. These non-NHS bodies, called “Accountable Care Organisations” could be given “full responsibility” for NHS and adult social services.
